My wife, Nancy, is a Physical
    Therapist at Children’s
    Hospital of Oklahoma. Her
    27 years at Children's show
    her passion for working with
    children even with the
    extreme challenges.   She
also lives to quilt and is a
    member of the Norman
    Quilting Guild and Oklahoma
    Quilting Guild.

We both work in our Church
where my wife is the lay
    leader, and I’m the treasurer
and a member of the Board
    of Trustees. Our hobbies,
    besides my wife’s quilting,
    include taking care of our
    three horses , two corgi
dogs and two cats. When I
    can, I love fishing and
    camping.
I am married with 2 grown children.

    Kandra, my daughter, graduated
from Moore High school and is now
working at Tinker Air Force base.
She loves to fish and does so as
    often as possible.

    My son, Philip, graduated from
    Moore West and United States
    Army Instructor School. After two
tours of duty in Iraq, he and his wife
    and two children are presently
    stationed at Fort Knox, Kentucky.

Hi, I am Troy Green, candidate for
    Oklahoma House District 53.

I am a life long resident of  Oklahoma,
so I've seen many changes in those 63
years--some good, and definitely some not
    so good.

I worked at several jobs before going
to work at Tinker AFB.  I was employed by
Tinker Air Force base as a Training Leader
until I retired in 2003 after 37 years.  During
those years, I also worked at TG&Y stores.
As a part time worker of between 36 and 42
hours a week,  I grew into the position of
    assistant  customer service manager.  I
believe by working 80 or more hours a
week gave me a tremendous amount of
insight into what the working class people in
Oklahoma go through each day because I
have lived some of those same struggles.
Troy and his
family are all
smiles as they
greet his son,
Philip, just
home from his
first tour of duty
in Iraq.
