fall in and what possible recovery would be extremely slow. It is time for CHANGE. I know we all have heard this all too often these days, but it has never been truer than now. The working class men and women of this great state are falling farther and farther behind, Seniors are struggling to simply make ends meet on fixed incomes, and our children are caught in the middle. We have a great State, but to look at the statistics, you would not know it. The State ranks in the highest numbers for poverty meaning large numbers of Oklahoma citizens are without health insurance and have no hope of getting any, children are going to bed hungry, education is at the bottom of the nation for funding causing hardships providing opportunities for students including Oklahoma being less attractive to teachers due to having the 47th lowest salaries in the nation, we are billions of dollars behind infrastructure needs so roads and bridges are crumbling. The list goes on and on. But, our legislature is content giving millions of tax payers' money in incentives to bring a pro basketball team here, tax breaks to the rich while the oil industry continues to raise our gas prices, and they vote against raising the minimum wage where people could at least have a chance to provide for their families even if it's not by much. All of these doing very little if anything for those in real need. Before it is too late, it is time to say, "enough is enough!" and take our state back. t is time to stand up for the people of Oklahoma and vote for change, vote for progress. It is time to get smart about Oklahoma. It is time to get smart about taxes. It is time to get smart about roads and bridges. It is time to get smart about health care. It is time to get smart about education, but most of all, it is time to get smart about ourselves. That is the challenge I want to take on and do my best to make a difference for change, not only for my children, but for you and your children and their children. It is time to Get Smart on Change. I hope you will join me to work for this change~truly making Oklahoma the great State we all believe she can be. I ask for your support and your vote in this endeavor.
